There is a lot of potential in this profession, around 8% of total seafarers are Indians and because we Indians have been working hard and smart onboard ships therefore there are more demands for us. Merchant Navy in laymen language is, Officers/Engineers/Crew working together as a team on ships to transport cargo from one place to another.
